Background

Brenda Happell is Professor of Contemporary Nursing and Director of the Institute of Health and Social Science Research at CQUniniverity. Brenda's clinical background is in mental health nursing and has been an academic for over 20 years and during this time has taught at undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree record. Brenda has a strong research track record in achieving competitive grants, in conducting the research and disseminating the results through publications and conference presentations. In Brenda's spare time she is the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Associate Editor of Issues in Mental Health Nursing, Fellow of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, a consultant to the WHO and has been at CQUniversity since February 2007.
